Lovely lil flower purse

Not thee best picture, but it will do for now.  Originally I was starting out making a hat from the top down using DPN's and it was a fun experience, but not the right size yarn for the pattern I was following.  I got the bright idea to try something new. Hence this cute lil bag with a drawsting and a cute knit flower on the front. =)

Giving me a hard time...

So I started out on a mission.  Just looking for a clothing type pattern as a challenge. I found a pleated skirt and thought it looked easy enough. LOL. It was really easy once I got help understanding the last part of the pattern. I had done up the 2 panels and then to seam it up...the instructions weren't very clear to me.  Or my brain just didnt register them what so ever.  Here are some pics of what took me almost 2 weeks to knit up.  (I am still not done yet as I have to define the pleats and then block it)
