So I thought I would challenge myself when I came across this (what looked to be) simple pattern in a book from the library. I am glad I did, but boy is it ever confusing. lol. I am learning as I go. I am impressed with what I have done so far. =o)

3rd Times a Charm
So after being really mad at myself for a couple days...I attempted to come back strong by making the best owl hat ever. I was really upset because the first owl hat I made for myself was accidentally left on the bench at the park. I had 2 wirey dogs to deal with and my daughter was needing help to hold her bike and argh, I forgot it. Someone is the new owner of my awesome hat =( But I made a new one and I am more impressed with this one! =o) I added different colored buttons on every other owl. What do think???
I had my daughter pose it for me...but this hat is all ME!! =o)
Thinking I may make some sets. Owl hat and fingerless gloves with an owl embroidered on them....I wonder if they would sell????
